Pearl Button believes in slow fashion and creating beautiful wedding garments (they don’t always have to be dresses) that will be loved so much that they will be worn again (with clever design we can do this) or stored as a family treasure to make history again in the future.

We pride ourselves on our traditional couture techniques. We work hard to keep alive the beautiful hand sewing construction techniques of the past such as lace appliqué, rolled hems and pricked stitched zippers that mean your gown is a work of beauty.

We are proud to be accredited with Ethical Clothing Australia which means you can be assured your gown was made by us in excellent working conditions.

Our fabrics are carefully curated from trusted Australian fabric suppliers. We believe in using natural fibres, silks, wools and cottons for their beauty and long term sustainability. All our off-cuts are up-cycled and sent to florists and textile artists.

Our studio on 10 acres on the south coast is run on solar power. We are committed to having as small an environmental footprint as possible. We invite you to come and visit us at our beautiful studio on the south coast to see where Pearl Button gowns are made.
